Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Quan Ba (L/D)
Morning: TrulyHaGiang picks you up at your hotel by a private car , then take the road north towards Viet Tri and Tuyen Quang (Route No.2 ) through the Red River Delta region. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Tuyen Quang Town, an area famous for green tea plantations.
Noon: After lunch, we drive you towards the Rocky Plateau. You will soon have the look down view of the towns in Quan Ba district with the Twin Mountains as a gem. Descend into the Lung Tam hemp weaving village, explore the local’s traditional craftsmanship that’s growing into good business. Drive through the Can Ty valley, along the Mien river ‑owing pass by H’Mong, Nung ethnic homes. Settle down in Nam Dam village, Quan Ba.
Evening: Have dinner cooked by the homestay’s host and freely walk around the village, or you have an option to dip into Dao ethnic’s refreshing herbal hot tub.
Overnight in Dao house which was built as a community
guest house with financial support from Caritas Switzerland
to feature traditional architecture Dao Ethnic minority.
Day 2: Quan Ba - Yen Minh – Dong Van (B/L/D)
Morning: After having breakfast, we will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages of Lung Cam and Sa Phin. A stop will be made en route to visitan H’mong Village in Lung Cam which is famous for “Houseof Pao”, and the residence of the Vuong Family, dubbed as“Hmong King’s Palace”.
Afternoon: We have lunch in Dong Van town, then you can explore the hidden trails and countryhood behind the town.
Evening: We will go back to Dong Van Ancient Town, have dinner and chill out in the Old Quarter. Overnight in your hotel (the best options in DongVan Town)
Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac (B/L/D)
Morning: After having breakfast, you can walk around Dong Van Old Quarter and its local market by yourselves. We visit Lung Cu Flag Tower, standing on the summit of the Dragon mountain- the Northernmost point of Vietnam. Drive to a nearby pretty and authentic café Cuc Bac (North Pole) among a LoLo’s community.
Afternoon: We continue on a rollercoaster ride along the legendary Ma Pi Leng pass. Spend extra time to enjoy the spectacular view, with the Nho Que river way down below. We go all the way to Meo Vac town to settle for the night.
Day 4: Meo Vac – Ha Giang – Ha Noi (B/L)
Morning: After having breakfast, we will make the drive back to Ha Noi, returning by the same route. On the way, you can stop to take photos of the magnicent mountains and make the most of your last bit of time in this magnicent region. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and arrive back at your hotel inHanoi at around 18:00.
