Trekking and Adventure,Hill tribe experience

Trekking in Hoang Su Phi is evaluated at the level of 1.5/5 grade; an average altitude of 750m above sea, the average gradient of 8%, sometimes up to 30%. You will have proximately 5h-7h walk every day (10km-18km per day), with local guide, transporter by motor on adventurous roads . And modest services are prepared in accordance with our standards. A difficult journey over winding trail, you have the opportunity to witness cultural life, farming practices and activities of the ethnic minorities in mountainous areas to the north. Admire the terraced rice fields look like silk scarves flying over in the wind above mountain slopes. A wonders built up over hundreds of years.

Day 1: Thong Nguyen – Nam Nghi – Nam Hong (L, D)

Transfering by bus, you come to Thong Nguyen valley and start trekking in Hoang Su Phi.

You will take 2 hour for trek to Nam Nghi village, a small hamlet in the mountain side by Man Ta Pan (Red Dao ethnic minority group).

Afternoon, follow the trail in the mountain side to go to Nam Hong village.

Have lunch with family of Red Dao

Overnight at a homestay of Man Ta Pan.

Day 2: Hike from Nam Hong to Nam Ai (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will follow trails winding through rice terraces across Nam Khoa village, a place inhabited by the Man Ta Pan ethnic group. You will have time to admire the stunning views of the terraces. You will also discover the daily life of the inhabitants throughout this trek and you will most notably meet Man Ta Pan and Long Tunics Dao.

At Nam Ai, you will see old tea plant (more than 100 years old) with buds have white hairs, it is called Shan tea - a famous tea in Vietnam. And enjoy fresh tea in here.

Lunch with a family of Man Ta Pan ethnic group.

Overnight at a homestay with a Long-tunics Dao family.

Day 3: Nam Ai – Seo Phin – Ho Thau (B, L, D)           

On this day, you will down to Nam Son and visit the life of a small town in the north of Vietnam. Then, you leave town via a suspension bridge and pass up the mountainside to a Hmong village.

On the winding trails, you will also witness the daily labor of local people, especially the group of Dao, Nung, and H’mong flower.

For lunch, you will have lunch with a family of H’mong Flower.

And then, you take the motorbike-taxi to go to the capital town of Hoang Su Phi; take the local bus to say goodbye Hoang Su Phi!
