Quan Ba is the first gateway district when coming Dong Van karst plateau geopark, the place famous for heaven gate, double stalactite, speciality corn wine, Hop Tien linen and Tam Son town where is known as the 2nd Sa Pa in the North of Viet Nam. Quan Ba is located in the west – southwest of Dong Van karst plateau Geopark- Ha Giang province. Topography mainly is mountainous rocky, its average elevation from 1000 – 1.200 meters above sea level. Quan Ba is situated in a temperate climate and divided into two seasons: Rainy and dry seasons. Average rain quantity about 1200mm/year.

Noon: Arrive in Lung Tam, have lunch with a local family

From Nam Dam village, you will walk up to the hill at the end of the village to see the spectacular view of the Lung Tam, Can Ty valley among the four rocky mountain surfaces, with Mien river flowing through the villages of Hmong, Nung, Dzay ethnic groups. After that, you will continue to go along the little lane through the terraced fields and woods to come to Lung Tam down the valley. There, you will visit the workshop and show room of the hemp weaving cooperative to learn about the process of hemp weaving and admire the stunning hemp products. Lung Tam hemp products are unique for many features such as: natural material of hemp trees; no chemical dying; cool, soft fiber; iconic exquisite motifs of decoration representing ethnic H’Mong culture in the highlands; natural materials to produce colours. Traditional weaving technology by looms aslo makes hemp products of Lung Tam appealing. You can try doing some stages of hemp production by yourself.
After visiting the hemp weaving cooperative, you can walk around in the village to enjoy the scenery and meet with loca H’Mong people before returning to Ha Giang. End of tour./.
