Hoang Su Phi is among the untouched area of Ha Giang Province of Vietnam. It's was separated from modern days until very recently. The central town of Hoang Su Phi District is 60km from Tan Quang town and 100km from Ha Giang provincial capital. On this 4 days excursion, you will visit Hoang Su Phi: a village near Chinese border. There, you will visit local markets where hill tribe minorities (including Hmong, Red Dao, Tay , Xa Pho and Giay) trade their goods. You’ll see the amazing Hoang Su Phi Terraced Field the place of nature landscapes..

Local homestay
Day 1: Tấn Xà Phìn – Nậm Son (-, B, D)
Morning and Afternoon: You come to Tấn Xà Phìn village the late morning and take 2 hours for trekking though the small village of Long tunics Dao ethnic group and go down to the valley – where the Tay ethnic are living.
Noon: Lunch with Long tunics Dao family
Evening: Overnight at a homestay with family of Tay ethnic group.
Day 2: Nậm Son – Hồ Thầu (B, L, D)
Morning: On this day, you will down to Nậm Son and visit the life of a small town in the north of Vietnam. Then, you leave town via a suspension bridge and pass up the mountainside to a Hmong village.
Noon: For lunch, you will have lunch with a family of H’mong Flower
Afternoon: You will have time to admire the stunning views of the terraces. You will also discover the daily life of the inhabitants throughout this trek and you will most notably meet Long Tunics Dao, H’mong Flower and Nung.
Evening: You will stay with people of a different ethnicity than yesterday, in order for you to feel the nuances in the daily life of different ethnic groups. Either overnight at homestay of Nung ethnic group or Man Ta Pan ethnic group.
Day 3: Hồ Thầu – Bản Luốc (B, L, D)
Morning and Afternoon: Today, you will hike (5 to 6 hours) until reaching Suoi Thau, a village inhabited by the Long Tunics Dao ethnic group - The village located between the largest terraced rice fields in Hoang Su Phi.
Noon: Lunch with a family of Man Ta Pan ethnic group.
Following the itinerary, you will cross stream, waterfall, bamboo forests, pass to Ban Luoc Heaven gate, and beautiful rice terraces. On the winding trails, you will also witness the daily labor of local people, especially the group of Man Ta Pan and Long Tunics Dao.
At Suoi Thau, you will see old tea plant (more than 100 years old) with buds have white hairs, it is called Shan tea - a famous tea in Vietnam. And enjoy fresh tea in here. Visit an ancient temple of Long tunics Dao people, where you can find out their wishes for a better life.
Evening: Overnight at a homestay with a Long-tunics Dao family.
Day 4: Bản Luốc – Su Phì (B, L)
Morning: After breakfast, you have 2,5hour to leave teraced rice field of Ban Luoc. It is time that you feel our pride. And then, you take the motorbike-taxi to go to the capital town of
Hoang Su Phi; take the local bus to say goodbye Hoang Su Phi!
