One night at Truly Ha Giang 1986; One night at Truly Dong Van Homestay
Day 1: Ha Giang City - Quan Ba District - Yen Minh District (L, D)
Morning: Truly Ha Giang guide will pick you up at Truly Ha Giang Office. After that, we will pass the mountain roads to Quan Ba town. You will enjoy the incredible view of the Happy Road below. On the way, you can take some photos with the magnificent view of the rice fields, mountains and valleys. In the villages, you can experience the culture and customs of the Red Dzao people in Nam Dam Village.
Noon: We will have a delicious lunch in Quan Ba before we continue the trip to Lung Tam Hemp Weaving Village.
Afternoon: In this village of the H’mong minority, we will learn how to make hemp fabrics from locally grown hemp in Northwest Vietnam. There, you will have an opportunity to talk to the local people to learn about their way of life, culture and customs. We will continue our journey to Nam Dam village and check in your homestay
Evening: Dinner will be provided. After dinnertime, you are free to discover the Nam Dam village.
Day 2: Yen Minh – Lung Cu– Dong Van (B, L, D)
Morning: After having breakfast, we will continue our journey to Yen Minh town. From there, you will know how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages of Lung Cam, Sa Phin and Lung Cu. A stop will be made en route to visit an H’mong Village in Lung Cam which is famous for “House of Pao”, and the residence of the Vuong Family, still called “Palace of Hmong King.”
Noon: We will have lunch at Dong Van Town.
Afternoon: After lunchtime, we will visit Lung Cu FlagPole – the North Pole of Vietnam where, you can see beautiful landscape down and a big flag at the top of the Dragon Mountain. Then, we will visit Lo Lo Chai Village - the Village of Lolo Ethnic Group.
Evening: We will go back to Dong Van Town, have dinner and enjoy a night at Dong Van.
Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Lung Ho (B, L, D)
Morning: After having breakfast, you can walk around Dong Van Ancient town and its local market by yourselves. At 09:30 a.m, we will continue our drive towards Meo Vac Town. We will make few stops for admiring the scenery and taking some photos of the Ma Pi Leng pass.
Noon: We will drive through the Meo Vac Town to Mau Due town and have lunch there.
Afternoon: After that, we will continue our way to Lung Ho town, Yen Minh and arrive there at 5 p.m or 5:30 p.m.
Evening: Enjoy local dinner and overnight at Lung Ho town
Day 4: Lung Ho - Yen Dinh - Ha Giang (B, L)
Morning: After having breakfast, we will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how Tay people live in Vietnam.
Noon: We will drive through the Lung Ho to Minh Son village and have lunch.
Afternoon: After that, we will continue the way to Yen Dinh village and arrive in Ha Giang at around 17:30.
